Self Introduction

I am a native English teacher with a First Class Law Degree, a Trinity Certificate in Teaching English and over 10 years of teaching experience. My family is British, but I was born in Hong Kong, attended an English international school and then acquired my university degree in London. I am dedicated to consistently helping my students to achieve their goals, whether they aim to ace an interview, improve their performance at school or simply develop their English skills to the level of fluency. I have trained students for English exams, interviews and speech festivals. I have a significant collection of teaching materials and I personalise lessons to suit my students' abilities, interests and goals. I have taught students using a variety of educational systems, including the Montessori Method, Jolly Phonics, Oxford Reading Tree, Cambridge English and many more. I have experience teaching both formal lessons as well as providing childcare for families who require significantly more hours per week. I provide a joyful learning environment that encourages my students to discover their passions, improve their abilities and develop a love of learning.
