Mavis graduated from The University of Hong Kong (HKU) with a First Class Honours degree in Social Sciences (GPA 3.94 / 4.30), with an academic focus in Psychology. She has recently finished her Master of Social Sciences (Social Service Management) at HKU (cGPA: 3.89 / 4.30). Mavis holds strong academic background as a Dean’s Honor List recipient and has been awarded 15 scholarships/prizes during her undergraduate study. Mavis loves reading around and drawing insightful connections between knowledge acquired. During her undergraduate studies, she has taken diverse elective topics. These include — Functional Biology Biotechnology Nutrition and Metabolism Human Physiotherapy Anthropology Life and Buddhism After completing the degree, Mavis has been working in the local higher education sector — in research, administrative, and teaching capacity. Outside her regular work capacity, she teaches English in private and center settings.
